Tahini is a condiment made from toasted ground hulled sesame seeds. Tahini is served as a dip on its own or as a major component of hummus, baba ghanoush, and halva. Tahini is used in the cuisines of the eastern Mediterranean region, from the Balkans, Caucasus and Middle East to Northern Africa. It is also widely used in Chinese and South East Asian cuisine, notably Vietnamese cuisine.

How to Prepare Tahini:
1. In a separate bowl, pour the amount you want to eat.
2. Add water in a 1:1 ratio (tahini : water).
3. Add lemon juice and salt to taste.
4. Mix thoroughly with a fork for 5 minutes until smooth.
5. Adjust water for desired thickness.
Optional Add-ons:

• Paprika
• Crushed garlic
